FabricSolar – innovative coverings of structural elements using a combination of acrylic fabrics with photovoltaic micromodules with increased efficiency and resistance to external factors.
The aim of the Project is to develop a pioneering technology of hybrid combination of acrylic fabric with photovoltaic micromodules (a solution so far unheard of in the world). The company (CBR for the creation, development and validation of innovative photovoltaic products, winner of the Red Dot Award) intends to develop a technology that will enable the production of many types of products (including those made on special orders of customers) based on acrylic fabric integrated with photovoltaic micromodules allowing for generating solar energy in the on and off grid system. In order to verify the possibility of achieving the assumed results of R&D works, including the correctness of the assumptions made, the Company, in the course of works, will design and produce prototypes of 3 products based on photovoltaic fabric, including: pergola, awning, umbrella, which will enable energy production, storage and its use in prosumer applications.

Innovative smart photovoltaic awnings and alternative use of BIPV technology to balance energy at the end user level
Conducting research and development works aimed at developing innovative, intelligent photovoltaic awnings, which are an extremely valuable market product, from the segment of modern, unconventional energy and acquiring knowledge that in the future will be the basis for the development of further innovative solutions in the field of BIPV technology – modern architectural elements, integrated with photovoltaic panels, such as roller blinds or shutters.
“The new awning will be a direct answer for people who are currently interested, either in purchasing an ordinary awning or installing traditional photovoltaic panels (roof or earth). Both groups of recipients will meet their expectations by purchasing a new awning (they will balance the energy demand – they will adequately shade the space or generate electricity) The product will provide them with additional benefits – it will guarantee electricity generation to those looking for shading, and it will provide additional protection against excessive sunlight to customers interested in energy independence. “

Establishment of research and development facilities for Phoenix Enterprise Sp. z o.o., focused on conducting R&D; works in the field of innovative photovoltaic awning technologies and other applications of BIPV technologies
The aim of the project is to develop an innovative, hybrid solar roller blind that combines the functionality of automated shielding systems in the form of roller blinds and renewable energy sources in the form of photovoltaics (a solution so far unheard of on a global scale). The company (CBR focused on creating, developing and validating innovative photovoltaic products, winner of the Red Dot Award) intends to develop a product that will create the possibility of simultaneous, voluntary shading of specific spaces and generation of electricity using solar rays, as well as offering consumers high comfort and a sense of security due to the possibility of eliminating noise, the impact of negative weather phenomena, or protecting window openings against burglaries. The result responds to the identified market demand among individuals (households) and business (entrepreneurs, public institutions) consumers. At the same time, the Applicant will develop new knowledge in the subject of the method of integrating a dedicated photovoltaic module with lamellas to ensure the efficiency of photovoltaic installations, and on the kinematics of the solution, ensuring maximum efficiency of the generated energy by outputting power through cabling according to serial and parallel connections.
The project involves the implementation of industrial research (E1), development works (E2), and pre-implementation works (E3), which will result in a product ready for implementation and the process of its production. The company has secured the necessary human and technical resources to ensure the correct implementation of the Project. It is planned to involve subcontractors to carry out part of the R&D works. The company has exclusive intellectual property rights necessary to implement the Project and implement its results.
